The Taylor-Bassett room is in the new community centre built in 2022, next to the beautiful Christ Church building consecrated in 1848. It is located in the heart of Islington at the north end of Highbury Fields. The capacity is 75 standing, and 50 seated. Our hall is a convenient and flexible space that is ideal for parties, small events and community gatherings. We hire the space for one off events. We have an excellent kitchen, with a serving hatch into the main hall. Serving buffet food, cake and drinks is included in the hire fee. If you would like to use the kitchen to cater for your party a one off fee applies. Please note: key access is required, via collection from the venue directly. Beautiful hall in the heart of Romford.  Ideal for parties, wedding receptions, meetings, exercise groups. ‍ A £200 refundable deposit is required which is taken by the venue following the booking which is made on Sharesy. The Main Church Hall is a spacious, high-ceilinged venue ideal for large gatherings, performances, community events, and private functions. With its traditional character and open layout, it accommodates a wide range of setups. The hall includes access to kitchen facilities and is well-suited for events that require a welcoming, flexible space in a peaceful, residential setting.

The Blue Beetle room is located in a separate building from main hall. The Blue Beetle can accommodate up to 30 people and has its own entrance and small kitchen area, as well as toilet facilities and disabled access. The room measures 5.3m x 9.1m. It has a carpet floor, large windows, a pull down white screen (projector not available) and an upright piano.

The church’s purpose-built hall is on Hendon Lane, just past the main church building. The Leahy Hall (or Large Hall) is a room capable of accommodating up to 200 people and measures 18.9m x 9.1m. There is also a large well equipped kitchen available for hire. It has a stage, wooden floor and upright piano.
