Please note, the Vestry Hall is a resource for the Parish of Chingford, other Christian organisations, the community of Chingford and the community beyond. We will not, however, accept bookings for activities which are in conflict with the Christian gospel as understood by the Church of England; which will prevent our regular activities from functioning in full; or which promote any political party or opinion.

The PCC reserves the right to refuse requests for hire by groups or for activities which, in the opinion of the PCC, are either contrary to the purposes and beliefs of the Church of England, or where the PCC considers that such use or activities may cause offence, on grounds of their religion or belief, to a significant number of people.

The hall is perfect for a small gathering Communication was great with collecting the keys. All appliances worked well, as I needed to reheat food, I would hire again.

I hired this space with out seeing it, for my event on the 16th, as I have hired another beautiful space from Sharesy. I went to see it on the 15th, and was so disappointed, I instantly started looking for another space. But obviously 1 day before the event, it was impossible. The hall had clutter everywhere with dirty looking curtains not properly hung. Please see photos attached. The kitchen worked well, but was cluttered. Good points, the cooker, microwave and oven worked. The sink worked. The loos although needing modernising was clean. Table and chairs were provided. I learnt a great lesson, I will never part with money unless I see the space first. Would not recommend this space or ever book again.

We hired the hall for my mothers 80th birthday party. The hall was the correct size for the 48 people that attended, however my only issue, and it was a minor one, was that there were only 2 toilets, and considering the people attending were quite old it would have been more convenient with an extra toilet. Booking the hall was easy ( internet) and dealing with the hosts was enjoyable...As for the appliances all the ones we used worked. Thank you and have a nice Christmas.

A decent size hall for the amount of people we had. There were about 35 of us. Kitchen was very spacious, working all fine. Would definitely hire this space again to accommodate our Christmas dinner party. Hosts were friendly and explained everything.

Hey the place was clean . The kitchen the oven didn't work the microwave didn't work I was not happy because I had food to cook I have to bring my own air fryer to sort the food it was a very stressful day. Next time if the advertising something the have to be check first I won't recommend that place to anyone.
