Dining Hall Hire, Crawford Primary School

The location and size of the hall were great and suited our needs well. However, we were disappointed with the manner in which the headteacher approached when collecting the keys. While the request to sweep and mop the hall was reasonable, the way this was communicated felt abrupt and lacked professionalism. A more courteous and respectful approach would have made the experience much more positive. Manners are free. Additionally, there were no bins provided at the venue, which meant taking rubbish with us after the event. Considering we paid £240 for the booking, this was an inconvenience and an unexpected responsibility that we feel should have been easily avoidable.

Brilliant indoor+outdoor space- perfect for our 6 year-old's birthday party. Having a few things to play with indoors and out was just perfect to keep the kids occupied before and after the main party activities. Really good value for such a feature-packed setup, and despite the slightly stern-sounding final-details email, the headteacher who was our contact on the day was actually just super kind and lovely.

We had a bday party for 6 years old. Lots of space inside and outside, a lot of chairs and tables, good value for money.

I had a great experience hiring this hall for my baby’s first birthday. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, and the staff were helpful and responsive from start to finish. The space was clean, spacious, and exactly what I needed for setting up decorations, food, and a play area. Everything ran perfectly on the day, and my guests commented on how spacious the venue was. I’m very happy with the service I received, which is why I’m giving it a top score. Highly recommend!

This hiring space was amazing. My son had an amazing 5th birthday party. It is very spacious, well organised and most importantly very safe. The communication with the staff was amazing. I cannot thank Crawford primary school enough. The head teacher is very lovely and very understanding. I do recommend this space, no issues what so ever. Thank you so much, for allowing my son to have the best spiderman themed birthday. -️
