The Main Hall - Events & Music Hire, Eastway Baths
A large, flexible event space for cultural events, live music, club nights, talks, screenings, workshops, conferences, launches and private hire.
With a full Martin Audio system, the right crowd and a team who gets grassroots and cultural programming. For live music, club nights, screenings and ticketed events of every kind. We are open to promoters and organisers bringing their own nights on fair terms, with an experienced team that helps rather than gatekeeps.
Capacity: Standing up to 300. Seated up to 150. Yoga mats up to 80. Event ticket cap 350, plus 20 organiser guest-list places. Whole venue cap approx 400. (Separately, the venue reserves the right to 15 guest-list places, see Hire policies.)

House rules
- Please arrive within your booked time, as the space may be in use before and after your slot.
- A member of staff will remain on site during the booking and will be available to help
- Wait in reception for a member of staff
- Eastway Baths is at 80 Eastway, London E9 5JH, an 8 to 10 minute walk from Hackney Wick Overground. Look for the large concrete Victorian bath building. The entrance is through the red doors.
- On arrival, check in at the cafe and ask for a member of staff. They will show you to your space.
- Step-free access: ring the doorbell on the grey doors to the right of the main entrance and staff will bring the platform lift down and open the accessible door. The Hall and garden are reached via a second lift. Please let us know in advance if anyone in your group needs step-free access so we can have it ready.
- Getting here: nearest station is Hackney Wick Overground (8 to 10 min). Bus stops on Trowbridge Estate and Wallis Road are a short walk. There is a bike rack at the front entrance on Eastway. On-site parking is limited and by prior arrangement only, so please ask in advance if you need it; drop-offs are available for anyone needing assistance.
- Alcohol must be approved by venue
- Ask venue staff for bags and take the rubbish with you
- Leave promptly after your event
- Leave the space as you found it
- When your booking ends, please:
- Leave on time, as the space may be booked before or after you. If you need extra time for setup or pack-down, please arrange it in advance.
- Take all your belongings, equipment, decorations and any items you brought in. Anything left behind cannot be guaranteed.
- Clear away your own rubbish and put waste in the bins provided. For larger events, please bag up rubbish and leave it in the agreed area.
- Return any furniture, tables or chairs to how you found them.
- Leave venue equipment (sound, lighting, AV) as it was set; only venue staff or approved technicians should adjust it.
- Report any breakages or spills to a member of staff before you leave, so we can deal with them quickly.
- Take noise down as you leave, especially late in the evening, as we have neighbours nearby.
- Let a member of staff know you are leaving so we can check the space and see you out.

We'll make sure to notify you in advance of making any deductions and will, whenever possible, provide you with photographic or other documentary evidence of the damage.
