We love weddings in our parish and warmly encourage you to consider one of our beautiful churches as the location for your wedding and special day. While the church bells ring out of Holy Trinity to celebrate a marriage, as the couple emerge from the church to start their new life together, a Christian marriage can provide a richness of significance not only to the wedding couple but their families and close friends, to remain as a joy and strength in the years ahead. The two beautiful churches of St Mary’s Leigh Woods and Holy Trinity Abbots Leigh have become increasingly popular for weddings in recent years, you can even hold your reception at St Mary’s. The setting for both is rural and yet only a few minutes from Clifton and Bristol. More recently couples have expressed a wish for a more economical and ecological wedding. So however you wish to celebrate, there are Wedding Couple evenings where it’s possible to ask whatever questions you have, where you can hear and discuss music, readings and your preferred form of service, floral arrangements etc.
