The Blue Beetle room is located in a separate building from main hall. The Blue Beetle can accommodate up to 30 people and has its own entrance and small kitchen area, as well as toilet facilities and disabled access. The room measures 5.3m x 9.1m.
It has a carpet floor, large windows, a pull down white screen (projector not available) and an upright piano.

- All hirers can use the provided tables and chairs in the storage room, chairs are stacked and tables are folded. Any seats and tables used need to be stored back in the storage room in the same place they were found. The place needs to be left clean the same way it was on arrival.
- Please take all your belongings with you, we do not offer storage space and are not responsible for any items left behind.

The space was good. I appreciated the help from the team. We wished there could be an AC as some guests were a little bit uncomfortable with heat.

Space was very good, it was open in due time for us. Not easy to communicate with anyone to do with the hall though as the office never answer the phone and the caretakers phone kept going to voicemail although they were on time before and after. The hall itself is clean and spacious so would use again!

As it was the last day of term we had a very big turnout, so the space was a bit of a problem, but we managed. However, we got a very frosty reception from the hirers of the main halls, when we collected our coffee/tea kit and when we returned it. They were quite rude. I noticed some decoration issues that could be improved, including a large crack in the wall behind the tea urn. Otherwise it is a nice space.
