Main Room Hire, St. Augustine's Wembley Park

The space was an easy choice for us to hire: they're nearby, they have parking, my husband and son have been there before (so it was familiar) and they allowed for an entertainer we wanted with no hesitation (animal experience from WildSci if you're looking for a similar venue). The space is great: facilities are clean, there is both indoor and outdoor space, plenty of parking, and there's a lot of things you can use (like the urn and plates/glasses/etc. - we only used the urn as we brought disposables with us). Lots of people appreciated that we had both the indoor and outdoor space. Easy to hire if you're in the area because of the parking and facilities - thanks!

The venue itself is very good—clean, well-presented, and nicely set up. However, it’s not as large as it appears in the photos, so keep that in mind when planning your guest count or layout. That said, it still offers good value for money, and the availability of a car park is a big plus, making it very convenient for guests. One important point: they are very strict with timing. No extensions are allowed on the day under any circumstances, so everything needs to run exactly on schedule. At check-out, while we were wrapping up, cleaning had already started and a staff member approached us. He was quite firm about the timing, which I understand, but his initial approach felt abrupt. This happened while some guests were still in the hall, and they could clearly hear the conversation, which made the situation uncomfortable. Additionally, when my family member asked a few questions about cleaning, his body language—such as rolling his eyes—came across as unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, despite the strict timing and the check-out experience, it was a good venue and worth the price.

Lovely venue for my daughters 1st Birthday! Everything was complete, particularly in the kitchen, plus the venue was spotless throughout and the beautiful outdoor space with parking was such a bonus! Mo was also really helpful right from booking the venue to being available and answering queries quickly on the day. Amazing from start to finish and I will definitely consider booking this venue again for furture events.

The Hall and space was nice and ideal for my daughter's 1st Birthday. I would recommend it to others. The staff (Mo) was helpful too.
