Versatile meeting room with kitchenette.
All bookings require a £300 security deposit (terms below). We hope that this ensures all bookers are respectful of both the space and the staff at the church.
Security deposit terms
If the following terms are met, the deposit will be returned to you two working days after the event:
Damage
- You will be liable for any damage caused during your event
- Please examine the space when you arrive and take photos of any damage or issues you see
- Damage will be charged at a reasonable amount, upon agreement between parties. Sharesy will act as an intermediary and establish a fair price based on standard market value or a trusted tradesperson
Overstays
- The venue must be fully vacated by the exact end time of your event
- The caretaker must be able to lock the doors of the venue at this time
- Overstays will be charged in blocks of 30m at the hourly rate of your booking. For example, if you leave 20 minutes late you will be charged for 30 minutes at the full hourly rate.
Mess and cleaning
- The venue must be returned in the exact same condition it was when you arrived
- Please take photos on arrival and when you leave to avoid any debates around the cleanliness of the hall (please note, this includes the toilets)
- Any additional cleaning required at the venue will be charged at £50 per hour

This was a lovely venue for my daughter’s 4th birthday party. We had access to the kitchen, lots of adult chairs and tables. We were able to rearrange the furniture but had to put everything back after the function. The caretaker was amazing and so helpful. Overall a lovely little venue for a small party. The venue is a bit dated but with your own decorations you can make it work. We book again in the near future!!

We hired the Keogh Room, which was a fantastic space. We had access to a microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, and more. Access was provided on time, and the communication throughout was excellent. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it.
However, management should consider updating the restroom, as it’s very outdated. The flush is operated by a chain positioned around 6ft high, making it difficult for children and shorter individuals to use. A renovation would make the experience much more accessible and comfortable for all guests.

It was great! It was spacious and clean. Loads of space in the back too - great for all the behind the scene stuff of parties. The man that manages it was amazing, so kind and easy to contact. I do think to be even better the space should have a stove in the kitchen and the entrance area should be repainted well.

I had my sons first birthday party it was amazing, daniel was very helpful and the space was great. As we was the only one having an event on that day the car park fit all the cars which was great. Daniel made sure we had everything we needed so thank you to daniel. I would hire this hall again for sure.

Very clean, and prompt. The man who let us in (sorry forgot name) was very nice and accommodating. Lots of amenities (toilets, kitchen etc.) Used for kids party with bouncy castle and they had a great time. Thank you very much.

I booked the venue as it started there would be 8 parking space available and there was no mention of any deposit. I paid for the venue 3 weeks prior to my event. 1 week before the event I was contacted for a deposit which I had to pay. Upon arrival to the venue the entire parking space was empty but blocked by a car belonging to a person who booked the adjoining venue which also belonged to the church and managed by the same manager who manage our event but he was unable to have them move the car, which made no sense to me. Apparently they wouldn't listen. A very pathetic excuse. It was very stressful and spoiled everything for us. It was hell dragging all the catering food and the equipments for decorating the hall from the cars parked on a busy road. It was very very embarrassing having to tell our guests upon arriving that there were suddenly no parking space, especially the ones with disabilities.
And that they now had to look for and pay for parking after assuring them that the venue came with parking space, previously when I sent them the invitation. I would have given 0 stars if possible.

I held my granddaughters christening in the South Hall which is a spacious room with beautiful features that's in need of some tlc. But I can't speak highly enough of lovely Daniel who was incredible from start to finish and was so accommodating and patient despite me combating him with questions daily! The hall was transformed and was just beautiful! It was a memorable and enjoyable day in large part thanks to him. All the guests were singing his praises - trustees take note. He is a jewel and you're lucky to have him. Thank you so much Daniel for helping to make my granddaughter's day so special - well never forget it!

Cancellations
This venue has custom cancellation terms which will be shown to you at checkout.
- Cancellations made over 2 weeks in advance of the hire date will receive a full refund
- Bookings made within 2 weeks of the hire date will have a 48 hour grace period from the time of booking to cancel and receive a full refund
- All other cancellations will receive no refund
