Keogh Room Hire, Memorial Community Church
Versatile meeting room with kitchenette.
All bookings require a £300 security deposit (terms below). We hope that this ensures all bookers are respectful of both the space and the staff at the church.
Security deposit terms
If the following terms are met, the deposit will be returned to you two working days after the event:
Damage
- You will be liable for any damage caused during your event
- Please examine the space when you arrive and take photos of any damage or issues you see
- Damage will be charged at a reasonable amount, upon agreement between parties. Sharesy will act as an intermediary and establish a fair price based on standard market value or a trusted tradesperson
Overstays
- The venue must be fully vacated by the exact end time of your event
- The caretaker must be able to lock the doors of the venue at this time
- Overstays will be charged in blocks of 30m at the hourly rate of your booking. For example, if you leave 20 minutes late you will be charged for 30 minutes at the full hourly rate.
Mess and cleaning
- The venue must be returned in the exact same condition it was when you arrived
- Please take photos on arrival and when you leave to avoid any debates around the cleanliness of the hall (please note, this includes the toilets)
- Any additional cleaning required at the venue will be charged at £50 per hour
Please note that a £20 late lock-up fee is mandatory for all events finishing after 9.00 pm.

The Hospitality Room was hired for a meeting of Sion College - 30 persons for 2 hours. The place was warm, there was plenty of room and it was a very convenient place to meet for us coming from next door at 42 Balaam St. Many thanks for the loan of the water boiler. Sam SSF

This was a lovely venue for my daughter’s 4th birthday party. We had access to the kitchen, lots of adult chairs and tables. We were able to rearrange the furniture but had to put everything back after the function. The caretaker was amazing and so helpful. Overall a lovely little venue for a small party. The venue is a bit dated but with your own decorations you can make it work. We book again in the near future!!

We hired the Keogh Room, which was a fantastic space. We had access to a microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, and more. Access was provided on time, and the communication throughout was excellent. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. However, management should consider updating the restroom, as it’s very outdated. The flush is operated by a chain positioned around 6ft high, making it difficult for children and shorter individuals to use. A renovation would make the experience much more accessible and comfortable for all guests.
