As such the room is fine, it is not big but was enough for what we needed to do. Floor is good for dancing (if that's what you want to do). Simple kitchen with all you need is there.
What was really not great is that on the Saresy site you get a confusing message which suggest that you can cancel within 48 hours ... but it means 48 after you place booking and only applies if you book more than 2 weeks in advance. That confused me as I (and many others I assume) would take it as promise to refund up to 48 hours before the event.  I understand that those who rent want to ensure they have time to find new customers but such confusing messages should be removed from the front page and conditions clearly explained in bold letters BEFORE people pay money.
I'd suggest to put a picture of the building somewhere because the church is actually on the opposite side of the road.

Value for money. This venue was perfect for a gathering of 45 but can accommodate a lot more.
Compared to most other halls in the area, this was a lot bigger and a lot cheaper. Kitchen was good, there's a fridge/freezer and a gas hob. Parking was good. Enough for 10 cars or more if everyone parks properly. Toilets were okay. One of the WC in the ladies toilet was clogged, but couldn't complain as there was an event prior to ours and maybe it was them. We didn't use the stage, so can't comment on that. Tables were easy to assemble and decent size. Chairs were a bit old, but not too bad. Hall was spacious and tall, so even on a warm day it was still pretty cool inside with the windows and doors open. But be respectful of the neighbours. We had to close the doors and windows as one neighbour complained of the sound, although being honest we weren't really loud as we had kids with us. But anyway everything was perfect for our little one's first birthday. Talking about the one thing that upset my wife and myself was that the phone numbers never worked. We wanted to arrange a viewing of the hall to plan out for our event. Hall size and table size for decorations, speaker locations, power outlets and everything else. But no one picked up the phone. Caroline (the caretaker) was very responsive via email, but the phone numbers weren't updated and we didn't get any response. But overall, it was still worth the price we paid.
