The Big Space Hire, Hackney Showroom
Hackney Showroom is a space for artists and communities with two studios available for hire.
Each space features a flexible configuration and can be used for rehearsals, workshops, community classes, performances, R&Ds as well as private events.
Big Space – Up to 50 seated, up to 60 standing, recommended 15-20 for workshops and classes.
Extras:
We offer Soft Play Equipment upon request for use at birthday parties or events for children aged 0 - 3 years old, this costs £60 (including VAT) and can be added at checkout.
We provide a bar upon request, at no additional cost, serving canned alcoholic drinks at £4.50 each. Payments can only be accepted by card at this current time.
If our rates are not within your budget, do not hesitate to let us know your budget and we can see if it is possible for us to accommodate you within your budget.

Venue policies
House rules
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start time
- The Duty Manager will be waiting for you on the date of your booking and will arrive before you
- You will be provided with the phone number of your Duty manager, and they will be provided with yours
- Please knock on the front door when you arrive, and they will let you in to the site
- A member of staff will remain on site during the booking and will be available to help
- No smoking
- No vaping
- Alcohol must be approved by venue
- Ask venue staff for bags and dispose of rubbish on site
- Leave promptly after your event
- Leave the space as you found it
- Please make sure all your guests have left the space by the end of your booking
- Set up and pack down time must be included in your booking hours
- Please double check that you have not left any rubbish or personal belongings in the venue before leaving
Parking and loading
- There are no parking spaces on site
- There is on-street parking but some restrictions apply on weekdays
- Unload by parking directly in front of the venue, this is not a designated parking space so can only be used for loading/unloading..
