The Rhum Tavern is a cocktail bar celebrating the diversity and expressions of Rum. Styled in the form of a ships hull, circa 1650’s golden age of Piracy. Merging the love of fiction & non fiction the Rhum Tavern has crafted an array of signature cocktails in bespoke glassware, in a setting that is both warm and welcoming. Our team of staff are here to guide you through our love of Rum, Hospitality & Comfort all the while trying new flavours and some classics to boot.

Full exclusive hire of Rhum Tavern - up to 150 guests, 4 minutes from Oxford Circus station (Elizabeth, Central and Bakerloo lines).

The hire covers both areas: the main bar and Captains Quarters, a hidden rear room reached through a bookshelf door. Both can be used together or separately across the same event - ideal for a morning boardroom session that moves into an evening reception, or a presentation opening into standing drinks.

• Seated dinner: up to 40

• Cabaret: up to 50
• Classroom: up to 40

AV - Captains Quarters: 65" screen, projector, sound system, microphone, USB-C input, DJ decks, WiFi.

Minimum spend: This runs as a bar tab - no room hire fee. If spend falls short, the difference is charged as a hire fee. Includes VAT and excludes 12.5% service. £100 non-refundable deposit applies. Late extension to 1am at £300 per hour (Fridays and Saturdays).

Food:
Exclusive hire must use external catering provided by us or approved by the guest. This is in addition to the minimum spend. Food and pre-ordered drinks are settled one week prior.

Signature cocktails include Dead Man Tells No Tales (served in a skull), Daiquiri and Mojito. The rum menu features 300 specialty rums. We also serve beer, wine, prosecco, champagne and spirits.

Ideal for product launches, corporate away days, client events and company celebrations, especially those combining daytime programmes with evening receptions. Ticketed events and club nights permitted.

No minimum numbers. Late licence to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Captains Quarters is available for up to 80 guests or budgets below £6,000 from £1,500.
