‍Please note, all bookings of a religious nature at the Engine Room must receive prior approval of the Parish Priest. Please ensure that you send an email to them prior to making any booking of a religious nature and you will then be sent a questionnaire to complete.

*PLEASE NOTE that from 01.11.25 to 30.08.26 our outdoor courtyard space will not be available for public use due to cladding work on Eagle Heights.*

The outdoor space was perfect for the bubble machine for my son 5th birthday party. The staff was friendly Romeo was very helpful towards the end and helped us clean up

The space was small and intimate, and really appreciate the outdoor space as it allowed guests to move outside should they get hot indoors. Only thing i would pick out is that the kitchen space wasn't big enough for two parties, the other booking basically overhauled the kitchen making it impossible for us to reheat any food which was a little annoying. But the guy who was overseeing the place was so super lovely and accommodating credit to him (apologies I can't remember his name) overall I would book this venue again and I would recommend

An amazing spacious room! Enough to have a bouncy castle with a good amount of guests! We hired for a baby shower and it was perfect. The team are responsive and very accommodating! We will be hiring again! Thank you!

The venue is in a very nice area and thankfully it was good weather so the sunshine came through nicely in the large doors/windows. No hassle with setting up and they had all we requested there to go (chairs/tables etc). On site staff was helpful and understanding as we ran over time he let us extend our time and informed us of the cost and was super nice about it considering we were keeping him from going home. Overall would recommend, great space and environment.

There was loads of space for the bouncy castle and the children to run a round. Only down fall the kitchen is too small fo two parties at the same time.

Hospitality was absolutely brilliant. Andrew was just so helpful and jolly. It was just lovely to be approached by such a lovely welcoming person the room that we had the Engine Room the Holy Spirit really was there and I just love the fact that it was a community centre with a church in the middle of it, a real family atmosphere
