The venue was clean and safe for the kids. Only, sweeping, mopping and dusting the whole venue myself, i was not expecting that. Get ready for that:)
Peggy Jay Centre Hire, Queen's Crescent Community Association
The Peggy Jay Centre is a colourful children's play facility in the middle of green, leafy Hampstead Heath. Situated at the Gospel Oak end close to the lido, it also makes a superb place to have a child's birthday party.
Only available weekends from 9am to 6pm, all year round.
Capacity for up to 40 people indoors or 80 if the weather is good enough to use the outside play area as well as seating for 30-35 children available.
It's also worth considering if you are a practitioner planning an activity aimed at children or if you want to hold an event.
Hire includes use of the Peggy Jay Centre, its small tea room as well as the outside and inside play areas. Use of any books, toys etc. found in the centre is permitted so long as the space is returned to proper order at the end of the hire (more details can be found in our terms and conditions)
Venue specific terms and conditions:
- A £300 deposit must be paid up front - we will be in touch to collect this after you book
- Failure to leave on time will incur you an a fine of £150 which will be taken from your deposit
If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the hire date, all deposits and fees will be refunded minus a £50 cancellation fee. If the booking is cancelled within 30 days of the hire date, the £300 deposit will be retained.

In the event of any damage to the space or any other part of the venue property, Sharesy reserves the right to make deductions from the payment method used.
We'll make sure to notify you in advance of making any deductions and will, whenever possible, provide you with photographic or other documentary evidence of the damage.
