Main Hall Hire, Abbey Community Centre
Our bright and airy Main Hall is a spacious, versatile venue overlooking the garden. It is ideal for a wide range of activities, including community events, exercise classes, workshops and large meetings.
For larger events, the hall benefits from its proximity to our modern kitchen, which can be accessed through an interconnecting door or shutter. Use of the kitchen requires a separate booking (see Priory Room listing here).
As a community centre, we offer discounted rates for charities and groups delivering activities with a community purpose. Discounts may also be available for regular bookings and sessions lasting more than three hours. Please use the 'message venue' button below the map to discuss any requirements.
After making the booking on Sharesy, a £150 refundable deposit is required to secure the space, which is returned after the event providing the deposit terms are met. This is taken directly by the venue after booking on Sharesy and is separate from hire fees.

In the event of any damage to the space or any other part of the venue property, Sharesy reserves the right to make deductions from the payment method used.
We'll make sure to notify you in advance of making any deductions and will, whenever possible, provide you with photographic or other documentary evidence of the damage.
