Absolutely wonderful venue — highly recommended! I hired this hall for my 40th birthday celebration and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with my choice. From the beginning, everything was smooth and straightforward, and the venue was perfect for what I had in mind. The hall itself was clean, spacious, bright and very versatile, which allowed me to create exactly the atmosphere I wanted. Having access to the tables, chairs and kitchen facilities was incredibly useful and made organising and self catering for the event so much easier. What I particularly appreciated was how practical and well-equipped the venue was. I was able to decorate the space beautifully and organise a large buffet without feeling cramped. My guests absolutely loved the setup and the overall atmosphere. The venue was also excellent value for money, which is increasingly difficult to find. I was able to host a lovely celebration without spending a fortune, and the quality of the space exceeded my expectations. My family and guests had a fantastic time, and I received so many lovely comments about the venue. It really helped make my 40th birthday a very special and memorable occasion. ❤️ Thank you so much to the team for providing such a lovely space. Main Hall Hire, Hope Church Mitcham
Whether you need a space for a party, workshop, dance class or conference, we exist to be an affordable events venue for our local community. Our venue is ideal for events and community groups, as well as for conferences and training days. If you need an accessible and versatile space in Mitcham for your gathering, we offer:
- A 70-seat hall which can be arranged to suit your requirements
- A service area for refreshments leading directly into the hall
- Two smaller spaces for meetings, workshops and breakout spaces
- Disabled access toilet with baby changer and step free access throughout
Please note that this hall is a Christian church and place of worship, and so we are unable to accept bookings for events which involve any religious or spiritual elements from other faiths.
For all events we ask for a deposit of £50 which will be returned if the building is left clean and undamaged. Please select this add-on when completing your booking.
As a church committed to the renewal of Mitcham, we're also keen to support non-profits and charities with our event space, so if that's you, get in touch. We would love to provide an affordable space for you.

The people are so polite and very kind.
It was pretty easy to book this space for my daughter’s first birthday. The hall is spacious and it had all we needed to keep everyone comfortable and happy.
Recently I hired this hall for birthday celebration and it exceeded our expectation. The facilities were excellent, spacious and well equipped creating a wonderful atmosphere for the event . The hall was clean and comfortable and everything ran smoothly from start to finish . I would definitely recommend this venue for parties and celebrations. Moreover, the care takers were extremely polite and helpful.
The hall was very spacious , neat very self sufficient and economical .
