A small, modern hall or larger meeting room with step free access and near an Accessible Toilet.  Easy access via public transport - a number of buses stop nearby, and the Elizabeth Line at Hanwell station a 7 minute walk away.

Please note that rooms at Hanwell Methodist Church are not available for parties or private celebrations of any kind.

Bookings for events involving loud music cannot be accommodated.

In addition, rooms cannot be hired for religious events. Any religious activities held at the church must follow the Methodist Church's approval process and therefore cannot be arranged through the standard venue booking system.

Venue policies

House rules

  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start time
  • Wait at the front entrance or gates, for a member of staff
  • The booker will be greeted by a member of the Church 10 minutes before the booked time, and will be let in the premises by the Church member. He/she will then show the booker to their booked room/hall, and also point out the location of the toilets and kitchen, the latter being included in the booking fee for the making of hot drinks and snacks.
  • There won't be a member of staff on site during your booking. If you have any issues contact the venue contact provided
  • No smoking
  • No loud music
  • No vaping
  • No alcohol, ever
  • Bring your own bags and take the rubbish with you
  • Leave promptly after your event
  • Leave the space as you found it
  • Its very important that bookers check that all external doors and windows are securely locked before they leave, and that, if using the cooker (for which there is an additional charge of £20 per hour) that the gas tap in the Kitchen is left in the vertical (off) position.

  • There is on-street parking but some restrictions apply on weekdays and weekends
  • There are no designated loading bays. Please unload from where you park.
